EDGE seeks wetlands permit for chip-fab site

Abstract:
A significant roadblock to attracting a nanotechnology company to a 300-acre site on the campus of SUNYIT may soon be removed, according to Mohawk Valley EDGE officials.

The plan for removing that roadblock — by obtaining a wetlands permit — was presented by EDGE President Steven J. DiMeo at a board meeting Tuesday afternoon at the Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre.
