Pakistan, US to expand science and technology ties

Abstract:
The two sides also agreed to expand the scope and extent of existing training facilities for Pakistani trainees including technicians, doctoral and postdoctoral fellows at US institutions besides building institutional linkages and collaborative programs between Pakistani and US institutions in the fields of agriculture, biotechnology, chemical sciences, pharmacology, industrial research, engineering sciences, electronics, material sciences and nanotechnology, metrology standards & accreditation, earth sciences and climatology and information technology including networking area, grid technology would be strengthened.
