IBM Highlights Initiatives to Bridge the Digital Divide in India

Abstract:
IBM, underscoring its commitment to enabling India to become an innovators nation and bridge the digital divide, announced that it imparted training on open standards based technologies to more than 80,000 students in over 745 colleges in India during 2006.


The company said IBM India Research continues to be a strategic asset for the IBM Research Network worldwide, with the lab driving innovation around Blue Gene, Nanotechnology, Autonomic Computing or Services Innovations.
