Nano ...what?

Abstract:
People used to say ‘Nano…what?' when anyone mentioned nanotechnology even two years ago. Now it is one of emerging technologies of the decade. Bangalore is all set to host an event called Bangalore Nano in December 2007. The meet is expected to bring together leading speakers and experts as well as some of the renowned companies. The idea is to bring all the players on a single platform so that entrepreneurs in the new segment are given the right kind of encouragement and impetus. At the moment, India has few such companies and this is likely to become an impediment in the future.
