Survey: nano future is in manufacturing

Abstract:
The success of nanotechnology hinges on manufacturing, according to a new survey.

The survey was prepared by the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Small Times magazine, and the survey found that by more than a two-to-one margin, US executives of nanotech companies said that manufacturing is more important to the advancement of the field than basic research.
