Designed to dazzle
Abstract:
One station focuses on nanotechnology, which uses atom-sized particles in such things as stained glass and glare-reducing coatings on screens. A small, clear container at the station appears to contain nothing but water — until a visitor shakes it, and the tiny particles turn the liquid red.
