Ultra-precise lathe delivers tools for flat panel display production
Abstract:
Moore Tool Company has introduced a roll turning lathe that delivers mirror finishes and straightness within 2 micron over full x and y travel, and has 0.05 micron x-axis repeatability and 0.1 micron z-axis repeatability.
