Mount Everest Climbers Test Aspen Aerogels Insoles

Abstract:
Pushing the term ‘product testing’ to the next level, Aspen Aerogels, the leading manufacturer of nanotechnology-enabled aerogels which outperform traditional materials by 2 to 8 times, is sending two experienced climbers to endure temperatures as low as minus 50C and winds reaching up to 170MPH so that they can assess the effectiveness of their insulation products.
