Judith Light Feather: Advances in microscopy and optical lenses have opened the ‘window to nature’ allowing us to see how the world actually works at the atomic level. This scale of science is all-encompassing and demands collaboration between physics, chemistry, biology, engineering and information technology, along with simulation and modeling software technicians.
