Smart Coatings V - Programme available

Posted on February 14, 2006

For the fifth time the EUROPEAN COATINGS CONFERENCE dedicated to "Smart Coatings" will take place from May 15 - 16, 2006, in Berlin, Germany. This event aims at presenting new, interesting, sometimes highly surprising concepts and materials, always with a potential to create new functionalities or novel ways to create extreme performance properties in polymeric coatings applications.

14 outstanding international experts from academia and industry have been invited to deliver high-level technical presentations about their research results, and to face up to the questions about their practical applicability.

During the conference, four technical sessions will focus on:

  • Novel Coatings Ingredients
  • Responsive Systems Triggered by Light
  • Molecular Surface Design
  • Life Science Applications

Thus, after four highly successful previous instalments, Smart Coatings V again offers the opportunity to hear about and discuss some of the current most intensively researched materials and applications which are likely to shape the industrial coatings systems of the future. In addition, highly interactive discussions with experts from all over the world on technical focus issues will round off the event!

Further information, such as the detailed conference programme, abstracts, and online registration, can be found at www.coatings.de/events/ecc25.cfm

Polyurethanes for High Performance Coatings IV - Great Response!

Delegates from over 18 countries have already registered for the EUROPEAN COATINGS CONFERENCE on "Polyurethanes for High Performance Coatings IV." This proves that from March 23 - 24, 2006, Berlin will once again be the international forum for manufacturers and end-users of polyurethane coatings as well as their raw material suppliers.

Limited places for this event are still available. Detailed information and registration possibilities can be found on www.coatings.de/events/ecc24.cfm

Fire Retardent Coatings - Mark this date!

On September 15th - 16th 2006 the EUROPEAN COATINGS CONFERENCES will for the first time address the topic of "Fire Retardent Coatings." This event shall focus on new developments concerning innovative raw materials and formulations for intumescent and other fire preventive or retardant coatings, on metal, wood or other architectural coatings.
