'The Clay With A Thousand Uses'

Abstract:
The upside could be far higher for Amcol's Nanocor subsidiary, which tries to turn tiny, nanotech-sized bentonite particles into big revenue-generating applications. Possible uses include lining plastic beer bottles and making plastic auto parts more heat resistant. In 2003, Amcol's stock more than tripled after Wall Street got caught up in the nanotechnology craze. Two and a half years later, nanotech is still a negligible revenue contributor.
