Local College Officials Perplexed By Defeat Of Education Bonds
Abstract:
University of Arkansas officials were surprised by negative returns in Washington County, home to the flagship university campus. Returns there were 52 percent against the proposal. The University of Arkansas also would have received $16 million to begin construction of a nanotechnology center.
