Micro tech creates big hopes for manufacturers

Abstract:
Nanotechnology will offer many manufacturers the opportunity to seize a competitive advantage, but people worried that millions or billions of "nanobots" will end up ruling the world can rest easy.

The ability to manipulate materials at the atomic level has already opened up new markets or allowed companies to seize established markets, according to Peter Binks, chief executive of Nanotechnology Victoria.
