Taiwan government backs nanotech
Abstract:
Shih emphasized that Taiwan's government has committed funds of NT$23 billion for nanotech research for 2003-2008. Last year, the output from the nanotech industry in Taiwan was about NT$40 billion, and the government hopes it will grow to NT$300 billion by 2008, according to Shih.
