Arsenal initiative builds on success

Abstract:
The new center, a partnership between UAlbany and IBM Corp., is expected to add 1,000 jobs at Albany NanoTech. The center is scheduled to be ready for equipment installation in November, said Michael Fancher, director of economic outreach at Albany NanoTech. That will boost the total employment at Albany NanoTech, including university, student and private enterprise workers, to 1,600 people.
