Nanotech project gets funding

Abstract:
Knowing that nurturing the tiny but powerful world of nanotechnology is key to developing the jobs and products of the future, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver announced Tuesday a $600 million public/private investment into stimulating high-tech industries.

Silver noted that the initiative will produce more than 5,000 new jobs when it's fully implemented.
