Oldest varsities set for major collaboration
Abstract:
The country’s three oldest universities in Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata are set for a path-breaking collaboration that would open up new opportunities for higher learning and research from 2005-06.
The universities would also offer joint doctoral research programmes in cancer research, nanotechnology, herbal medicine, environmental science, polymer science, liquid crystal, nuclear physics, comparative linguistics and literature and translation studies.
