MEMS advances from a bit-role player to a star performer

Abstract:
The Consumer Electronics Show, held every January in Las Vegas, is a wonderland of all the cool electronics products that will be launched over the course of the year. In 2004, other than Texas Instruments' Digital Light Processor (DLP), MEMS was nowhere to be found.

What a difference a year makes.
