Hon Hai 3rd-Quarter Profit Rises 27%

Abstract:
Hon Hai in July said it will invest NT$12 billion in Taiwan in the next three years to build a nanotechnology research and development center. The center will develop technology to build miniature displays, batteries and other electronic parts. The center in Tucheng, Taiwan, will be the headquarters for the company's research efforts in Japan and China. The center will employ 3,000 people upon completion, the company said.
