Starting small at Air Products

Abstract:
Air Products and Chemicals of Trexlertown launched a joint-venture business in May with Nanogate Technologies, a small German company that has already brought nanotech-based products to market in Europe.

The joint-venture company is developing tiny powders that can be mixed into paints and coatings to make them rock-hard, fireproof or electrically conductive, among other properties. Other uses, for other industries, will likely follow.
