Venture Capital: For startups, familiarity helps breed funding

Abstract:
OVP Venture Partners recently invested in NanoString Technologies, an early-stage nanotechnology company led by H. Perry Fell. Fell is the founder and former CEO of Seattle Genetics, a publicly traded biotechnology company that OVP bankrolled in 1998.
