Nanosys Awarded U.S. Defense Department Contract

Abstract:
Nanosys, Inc. today announced that the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded a contract to Nanosys and its collaborators to support the development of flexible low cost solar cells. The award has a potential value of approximately $14 million over a five-year period. The initial 12-month Phase 1 of the program will include up to $2.2 million of funding to Nanosys and its collaborators. More
