Small is not always beautiful

Abstract:
... there is one sense in which the parallel between nanotechnology and GM is justified. This lies in the challenge of bridging the gap between the promise and the reality of the way that the technology could be used to tackle the needs of the developing world. In both cases, the promise is substantial.
