Daedeok Aims to Become Global Research Hub
Abstract:
Daejeon City is endeavoring to emerge as one of Northeast Asia's research hubs by re-creating the Daedeok Science Town. In an attempt to achieve the ambitious goal, the city has pushed for the science town to be designated as a global research and development (R&D) cluster. The cluster would be divided into separate facilities for four sectors; information technology, biotechnology, radiation technology and nanotechnology.
