Defense Bill Includes Millions For Arkansas

Abstract:
An annual spending bill containing almost $78 million for Arkansas military projects passed its final hurdle this week, winning congressional approval and delivery to President Bush to be signed into law. The measure provides $5 million for programs at the University of Arkansas, including $2 million for nanotechnology research.
