EU earmarks billions to prepare for a nano future

Abstract:
Nokia Corp and STMicroelectronics have signed a joint declaration with the European Commission calling for $7.32 billion a year to be pumped into the development of nanotechnology, the science of molecular engineering, to prevent Europe falling behind the United States and Asia.
