Samsung to make its new nano-tech products here
Abstract:
Thai Samsung Electronics, a unit of the South Korean electrical-appliance giant Samsung, says it has been selected as the first outlet outside Korea to include new "nano-silver technology" in the production of electrical home appliances. Nano-silver technology, developed by Samsung in Korea, uses electrolytic silver nano-particles to destroy bacteria. Launched in Korea this year, the technology is the result of a three-year US$10-million (Bt397-million) research project.
