Joint Venture backs new tech consortium

Abstract:
Silicon Valley has thrived in the past on individualism and entrepreneurship, but future technological success will require a more coordinated effort, according to local leaders in business, education and government. To help the region benefit from advances in nanotechnology and biotechnology, Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network is spearheading a group called the Technology Convergence Consortium.
