Premier Yu encourages investment

Abstract:
Premier Yu Shyi-kun yesterday encouraged individuals from around the world who are talented in high-technology to work in Taiwan and spoke of the advantages of investment in the island by hi-tech companies. He added that Taiwan authorities have picked electronics, telecommunications, information services, bio-technology and nanotechnology as the five core industries to be developed in a new nationwide industrial development plan.
