Vietnamese Government Approves $25 Million Project
Abstract:
Altair Nanotechnologies announced that, in a written statement issued February 5, 2004, the Vietnamese government has approved a $25 million project to exploit, process and export titanium dioxide pigment. Mineral Development Company No. 6 (Lidisaco), a subsidiary of the Vietnam Mineral Resource Department, will develop the project which is expected to produce approximately 10,000 tons of titanium dioxide annually. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan by the Ministry of Industry and Lidisaco to find additional investment capital for the project by establishing a joint venture with an international partner.
