Thailand embarks on new technology development path

Abstract:
Thai physicists are embarking on new nanotechnology path to develop a new rice strain and improve silk quality and keep Thailand a step ahead of the others in this nascent know-how. It is part of a three-year project that would place new emphasis on the uses of obscure ``particles beam and plasma''.
