SurgRx Secures $5 Million in Second-Round Venture Capital Financing
Abstract:
SurgRx, a developer of proprietary nanotechnology designed to control the delivery of electro surgical energy in vessel sealing instruments used to achieve hemostasis during surgery, announced today that it has received $5 million in second-round venture financing led by California Technology Ventures (CTV). This is the first investment in SurgRx from CTV, a leading venture capital firm specializing in early-stage companies in the information technology and life sciences marketplaces.
