Abstract:
U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess announced a $3.1 million federal appropriation for NT's Center for Advanced Research and Technology Monday at a ceremony held at the NT Research Park. Oscar Garcia, founding dean of the college of engineering, said the appropriation funds will be used to purchase a state-of-the-art transmission electron microscope and to salary a specialist to operate the device.
