Nanotech center a great step forward

Abstract:
Gov. Sonny Perdue's announcement Oct. 21 that a nanotechnology center will be built at Georgia Tech is a huge step forward for the state. In the last year and a half, about 20 states have made investments in nanotechnology, the ability to work at the molecular level, atom by atom, to create large structures with fundamentally new properties and functions.
