NanoCoolers raises cool $8.5M

Abstract:
Fundraising activity is heating up at an Austin startup that aims to put a chill on electronic devices. NanoCoolers Inc. has raised at least $8.5 million of an $11 million round led by Redwood City, Calif.-based Draper Fisher Jurvetson LP. Austin Ventures LP also invested, says Jim Moore, president and CEO of NanoCoolers.
