Vancouver, Canada | Posted on August 23rd, 2013

Nanotech CEO Doug Blakeway commented, "Once the financing proceeds are released from escrow, we will use them to accelerate development and commercialization of our nanotechnology based optical imaging products for use in anti-counterfeiting systems for currency, documents and branded commercial products. We were pleased by the tremendous interest we received from the financial community which sees the opportunities for us to revolutionize the anti-counterfeiting and brand protection marketplace."

Blakeway added, "In addition to eliminating a significant royalty on product sales, the planned patent entity acquisitions will provide us with flexibility moving forward to develop applications for our nano-optics technology beyond security and anti-counterfeiting. Once completed, we will have direct ownership of the principal nanotechnology patents, as well as additional related and improvement intellectual property now owned by the private entities which will give us additional IP breadth and security of title."
