Abstract:
The 3rd International Student Biotechnology Congress will be held in Tehran by Biotechnology Student Society of the University of Tehran and Biology and Biotechnology Student Society of al-Zahra University from May 6 to 8, 2013.
The first congress was held in 2005 while the second one was in 2008. The third congress will be held this year with the association of University of Tehran and al-Zahra University.
The main objective of the congress is to create an appropriate atmosphere for the researchers and university professors all over the world to present the results of their researches and to discuss various fields of biotechnology. In this congress, articles will be presented on subdivisions of biotechnology, including medical biotechnology, agriculture, molecular and nano, microbial and industrial, environmental, bioinformatics, and biology of systems. The economic and ethical issues related to biotechnology will be discussed too.
Parallel to the congress, an exhibition will be held to introduce the novel biotechnology products and achievements, and it can provide an environment for implementation of the common projects.
