Abstract:
Harris & Harris Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TINY), an early-stage, active investor in transformative nanotechnology companies, notes Laser Light Engines' ("LLE") announcement today of the close of a round of financing of $9 million from new and current investors. This funding will enable LLE to accelerate commercialization of its laser illumination technology, which was introduced publicly in a demonstration of high-brightness laser 3D cinema on a silver screen at the NAB Technology Summit on Cinema in Las Vegas earlier this year. The funding will also be used to support product rollouts and to strengthen the company's engineering, sales and manufacturing operations.
