Nanotechnology features more prominently in our lives every day, and its potential for revolutionary applications across several industries is widely recognized.[1] Nanoscale materials are found in commonly used consumer products such as cosmetics and baseball bats, as well as sophisticated technologies like medical diagnostic imaging and prescription medications.[2]
