Nanotechnology Center Displays Achievements in Int'l Agro-Food Expo in Tehran

Tehran, Iran | Posted on June 7th, 2011

The INIC said that development of nanotechnology applications in various parts and related industries and the introduction of progresses and abilities of Iran in the field of nanotechnology to the domestic and international visitors are among the main objectives it pursues through participation in specialized exhibitions at domestic and international levels.

In addition to interaction with the participants, the INIC Development and Production Workgroup also introduces the nanotechnology activities carried out in the field of agriculture and related industries such as the production of ethylene absorbent packs and iron chelate fertilizer in its first participation in the Agro Food Exhibition.

The exhibition consists of three specialized sections of "Iran Food", "Iran Food Tech" and "Iran Agro" with domestic and international participants in attendance.

Products and food stuff, exchanged convertible industries and related industries are presented in Iran Food Section. Iran Food Tech Section displays the machinery, facilities and food industries' technology, packaging and ancillary facilities. And finally, machinery and agricultural facilities and the related industries are presented in Iran Agro Section.

It is the third time that Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council participates in a specialized exhibition related to nanotechnology field in 2011.

The INIC had earlier participated in "The 2nd International Exhibition on Equipment and Facilities for Dampness, Thermal, Optic, Sonar, Corrosion Insulations and Related Industries" and in "The 19th International Exhibition on Tile, Ceramic and Hygienic Chinaware", and it had presented its activities in the field of nanotechnology.
