3rd Innovation, Progression Confab Kicks Off Work in Iran

Iran | Posted on February 7th, 2011

The two events, being held on the occasion of the Ten Day Dawn ceremonies from February 1-11 (marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979), began their work on February 7 and will be wrapped up on February 10.

According to Dr Alasti, the Secretary of the Third National Innovation and Progression Conference, the conference will be held in the six areas of judging the inventions, commercializing the inventions, corridor for the facilitators, international zone, knowledge-based companies and organizations' needs.

Pointing out that about 1600 inventions with registration license have so far registered for taking part in the conference, he further added, "500-600 inventions out of 1600 will participate in the judging section and inventions that acquire the confirmation will receive stimulus support from this foundation."

Alasti also announced that the international section will be held experimentally and 10 countries will take part in that section.

Similar to the last two years, Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council will participate in the conference at Imam Khomeini Mausoleum and will display its achievements, publications, stimulus support and services related to nanotechnology.

In addition, an approximate number of 30 companies active in the field of nanotechnology will introduce their activities in this year's conference in order to commercialize their products. 10 companies active in nanotechnology field participated in the last two conferences.
