Nanotechnology to play important role in healthcare

Abstract:
Nanotechnology will play an important role in healthcare treatment as it can monitor heart functions at cellular level to help physicians in timely diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Speaking at an "International Conference on Nano-Sensors and Technology (ICNST)" at the Central Scientific Instrumental Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh, the director of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, Prof K K Talwar said nanotechnology will immensely help the healthcare system.
