Sono-Tek presents at the 15th International Coating Science and Technology Symposium (ISCST, St. Paul, MN)
Milton, NY | Posted on September 16th, 2010
Among the topics discussed were: polymer solar, layered nano structures, and biomedical advancements including the latest in anti-biofouling. Sono-Tek's Director of Engineering, Mr. Robb Engle, presented "Advantages of Ultrasonic Spray Coating of BioMaterials onto Devices and Implantables".
The presentation was well received by major industrial leaders in the use of advanced coating processes. Mr. Engle commented that he was pleased to find so many of these sophisticated end users are already benefiting from the advantages of ultrasonic spray coating. He added that, "During the exchanges we had in the symposium, we found many new opportunities to benefit the specialty coating community. These opportunities can be readily served by Sono-Tek's extensive line of ultrasonic coating systems."
Dr. Christopher L. Coccio, Sono-Tek Chairman and CEO, added: "Sono-Tek's success in the past 12 months can be directly attributed to our recent investments in developing technically superior, state-of-the-art spray coating systems, which provide unparalleled quality advantages and financial benefits".
