Abstract:
LSU Assistant Professor of Chemistry Jayne Garno is one of 14 researchers in the country to receive a 2010 Camille-Dreyfus Teacher Scholar award from the Dreyfus Foundation. The awards program supports the research and teaching careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences based on institutional nominations. Garno is in analytical chemistry and focuses on nanoscale studies of chemical structure, surface science and protein chemistry.
