TSU to buy mega microscope

Abstract:
Texas State University will soon buy a $2.2 million scanning electron microscope crucial for the study of nanotechnology, officials said Friday.

Regents for the TSU System authorized the purchase of a Helios NanoLab 400 DualBeam from the FEI Company with a combination of federal, state and institutional funds.
