Evident will soon have new owner

Abstract:
Evident Technologies Inc., a Troy nanotechnology company that was once one of the region's most promising operations, is poised to emerge from bankruptcy protection.

On Wednesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert E. Littlefield Jr. of Albany verbally approved the company's reorganization plan, which will put the company into the hands of a New York City hedge fund, Sola Ltd.
