Big event celebrates all that is small

Abstract:
Gytis Kriauciunas, a West Lafayette Junior High School eighth-grader, donned special white coveralls, booties to cover his shoes and a bonnet to cover his hair before stepping inside the clean room at Purdue's Birck Nanotechnology Center Friday morning.

NanoDays "is a nationwide festival of events to help our communities to understand what nanoscale science is all about," said Monica Allain, managing director of the nanotechnology center.
