Global Solar Energy's Thin-Film CIGS Achieves Record Efficiency

Abstract:
Global Solar Energy (Tucson, Ariz.), a manufacturer specializing in thin-film CIGS solar cells and modules, has announced that the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (the Department of Energy's laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development) has confirmed 13.2% aperture area efficiency for a module using the production-line thin-film solar material.
