Opportunity stays, even if funding goes

Abstract:
The partnership will retain enough money to manage the logistics effort and another effort concentrating on the home furnishings industry. And it plans to add emphasis on nanotechnology and regenerative medicine.

UNCG and N.C. A&T are building the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering to do research and education in the emerging discipline, which could ultimately spawn advanced manufacturing companies here.

Likewise, a variety of medical companies and Wake Forest University are involved in regenerating human tissues in Winston-Salem, which could yield results in medicine and business.
