Northeastern's Torchilin lands $1.4M NIH award

Abstract:
A Northeastern University researcher has won a $1.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop nanocarrier drug delivery technology.

Vladimir Torchilin, a professor pharmaceutical sciences and the director of Northeastern's Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Biomedicine, will use the funding to combine pharmaceutical nanotechnology with a new drug coating process.
